Thank you to all our donors, the party planners, solicitors, coordinators, coaches, booster parents, and everyone who attended the event.  We were able to raise over $5,000 for the NHS Athletic Department this year. 

If you are interested in working on the event for the 2009-2010 school year, please contact Jeanine Lautenbach.  Without parent volunteers events such as this are not possible.  We are looking for people to help with publicity, PR, a silent auction portion of the evening, item solicitation and more.  Please

Bucks for Bears is a group of parents working to raise funds for the Norwalk High School athletic department.  With the recent budget reductions and cut backs in the athletic departments at the High school, Bucks for Bears will be pulling out all the stops to help. The 2009 Bucks for Bears will be hosting a Dinner Dance and Live Auction was held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2009 at Chatham Manor in Norwalk, CT.

All profits from the event went directly to the Norwalk High School Athletic Department and will be used for durable goods for the Norwalk High Sports program.  Funds will be used to purchase needed equipment, uniforms and other items that can be used year-after-year by the student athletes at Norwalk High.  This is our major fundraiser for the athletic department that helps to raise funds for non-funded and under-funded athletic programs at Norwalk High School.
