Norwalk High School needs your help!
On Friday, March 6, 2009, Norwalk High School will be hosting the Second Annual Dinner/Dance Live Auction to raise funds for the Norwalk High School athletic programs. You can help by making a donation to the event. Merchandise, gift cards, memberships, discount cards, monetary contributions, etc. all will help make this event successful and help ensure the success of the Norwalk High Athletic Program.
With recent budget cuts (well over $100,000 in cuts in 2007-08 to the athletic program at Norwalk High), parents and administrators at NHS have taken it upon themselves to help support the program with additional fundraising efforts. With the help for businesses, such as yours, we can meet our financial goals for the upcoming school year.
Your company can help us by providing a tax deductible donation (whether it by a monetary donation, gift certificate, gift basket, tickets, etc.). Your donation will help make the Live Auction portion of the event a big success. All profits from this event will be used to purchase durable goods for all the teams and will be managed by the Athletic Director so that every team benefits. Our primary goal is to purchase the equipment, uniforms and other items that will be used year-after-year for the programs that are no longer being funded by the school budget. We are certain that with your help and the help of our community, we can offer a safe, fun and rewarding experience to all players, parents and coaches. Our student athletes are proud to represent the Norwalk community and the many coaches and volunteers take great pride in teaching sportsmanship and school spirit. We hope that you will take this opportunity to help.
If you have donated to other Norwalk High School fundraising campaigns, we sincerely appreciate you effort to help our school and we hope that we can count on your support for this effort. The student athletes will be the benefactors of your kindness. All sponsors and donors will have their names posted in our flyers, in the program for the evening’s event, and will be acknowledged on our web site.
